Participants at CLIA's Cruise3sixty conference for travel agents in Vancouver, June 19 to 23, will have six new training courses from which to choose, the trade group said.

The seminars include an intensive geography segment designed to increase knowledge of destinations, ports and itineraries, and a course in selling cruises through events.

Also, CLIA will offer a course on how to get the most from a CLIA membership and how to develop romantic travel as niche market.

Two group-oriented courses will be offered for the first time. One details how to develop group sales; the second outlines the budgeting and operational aspects of group sales.

Travel agents can register for Cruise3sixty at www.cruise3sixty.com.
