Oceania Cruises has moved up the debut of the Vista by a week in reaction to high demand for its inaugural season.

The Founder's Cruise will sail on May 13, a week before its original debut scheduled for May 20.

The cruise, hosted by Oceania founder and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings CEO Frank Del Rio, will sail from Rome to Venice. The sailing will open for sale on Thursday, Dec. 8.

The 1,200-passenger ship will be the first in the line's Allura class of two. The ship will include 12 dining options, including four that are new. The Vista will also have eight bars, lounges and entertainment venues and feature new Veranda staterooms for solo travelers.
