The Southeast Asian river cruise line Pandaw Cruises is the newest member to join the Niche Cruise Marketing Alliance.

"We are pleased to welcome Pandaw into our membership," NCMA executive director Lawrence Dessler said in a statement. "Their unique cruise offerings and high standard of riverboat luxury bring a totally new product to our members."

Pandaw includes four luxury ships, which range in capacity from 48 to 68 passengers. The cruise itineraries include an eight-day sailing from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to Angkor, Cambodia; a 13-day sailing from Kalewa, Myanmar, to Pagan, Myanmar; a 13-day sailing from Pagan to Bhamo, Myanmar; and a 13-day sailing from Prome, Myanmar, to Mandalay, Myanmar. Short cruises offered include one- and two-night itineraries between Pagan and Mandalay.

The now 13-member alliance hosts educational programs and seminars and attends trade shows to reach out to travel agents about the value of specialty cruise product. NCMA members are also active allied members of the National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents, an affiliate of ASTA.

Other NCMA members are: American Cruise Lines, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Galapagos Explorer II, Imperial River Cruises, Louis Cruise Lines, Majestic America Line, Norwegian Coastal Voyage, Orion Expedition Cruises, Peter Deilmann Cruises, RiverBarge Excursions, Star Clippers and Voyages of Discovery.
