PORT CANAVERAL, Fla.-Premier Cruise Lines said that its new
on-board service program, 7-Star Service, which has been under
development since April, will be introduced late this fall.
The first programs to incorporate the new on-board product are
those being launched Dec. 2 and 3, respectively, on Mexico's east
and west coasts, Premier said.
According to Premier president and chief executive officer Bruce
Nierenberg, the new on-board products in the program were selected
from more than 60 originally considered.
They range from a $12 million refurbishment of the textiles,
linens, carpets and fixtures of cabins and public rooms throughout
Premier's fleet to the selection of Godiva chocolates as a pillow
amenity. The new program includes terrycloth bathrobe for guests,
with a card inviting them to "take the robe with our compliments,"
the line said.
Passengers who book their cruises at least 60 days aheadwill
recieve monogramed robes.
