period to 24 hours for all cruises booked within four months of
The change requires customers to make their initial deposits
within 24 hours of the booking confirmation, rather than seven
days, as previously allowed.
The policy goes into effect Aug. 4. Princess said the new policy
is designed to help agents close sales.
"Many times after agents have made a big effort in sales and
marketing, they lose a sale because they are undercut by a few
