Radisson ship resumes season in C. America

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Radisson Seven Seas' 350-passenger Radisson Diamond has resumed its Panama Canal and Costa Rica season after a two-stage refurbishment.

The ship features new artwork, carpets, floors and furnishings throughout the public rooms, suites and select staterooms.

Other enhancements include the following:

  • The ship's two master suites have been renovated with new wallpaper, art, carpeting and curtains, as well as sofas that convert into double beds. Bathrooms have been refinished with granite floors.
  • Four balcony staterooms have been connected to create a pair of new, two-room master suites. The suites have queen or twin beds, makeup tables and writing desks. Room dividers were created with recessed etched-glass doors.
  • Two staterooms that are fully accessible to handicapped passengers have been relocated to Deck 7 and refurbished with new wall units, granite bathroom floors, single marble vanity units, furnishings, wall coverings and artwork.
