Regent Seven Seas Cruises said it will replace its scheduled Mediterranean cruises on two ships in the fall of 2014.
In 2014, the Seven Seas Mariner's previously-scheduled Mediterranean cruises from Sept. 23 to Dec. 18, as well as the Seven Seas Voyager's Oct. 21 to Nov. 28 Med itineraries have been cancelled.
Instead, the Mariner will make its way from the Med to Miami for a 34-day journey to Tahiti, where it will do a 16-day roundtrip, Regent's first turnaround in Tahiti. It will then take a 16-day trip to Auckland, New Zealand.
The Voyager, meanwhile, will offer a 30-day Indian Ocean itinerary from Dubai to South Africa with stops in India, the Maldives, the Seychelles and east Africa along the way.
Regent President Kunal Kamlani said that the changes were made after he heard from several loyal guests during a recent sailing that they wanted expanded options for southern Africa and the South Pacific.
