NEW YORK — Regent Seven Seas Cruises today gave a sneak preview of the spa services to be offered aboard the Seven Seas Explorer when that ship launches in summer 2016.

The luxury line has partnered with Canyon Ranch SpaClub and Red Flower, a New York-based manufacturer of beauty and aromatherapy products, for several body treatments that will be exclusive to Regent.

At the Carlyle hotel here, Regent offered an abbreviated version of one of those treatments: Red Flower North Atlantic Journey, which the line described as "an 80-minute body-exfoliating ritual with organic sea salts harvested from the Atlantic Ocean, enriched with sea algae and aloe vera and scented with Icelandic moonflower” plus an Italian blood orange hydrating wrap and a massage with French lavender oil.

The spa space, situated on Deck 5, was designed by RTKL. Drawing inspiration from the cocoon, the design was “envisioned as a metaphor for the rejuvenation guests experience during their spa visit,” Regent said.

The spa treatments will debut aboard the Seven Seas Explorer before rolling out fleetwide.

The Seven Seas Explorer will spend its inaugural season in Europe before sailing the Caribbean from Miami.
