Crystal Cruises lined up speakers for the Crystal Serenity's 94-day World Cruise sailing Jan. 18, 2012, roundtrip from Los Angeles.

Television celebrity Regis Philbin, Hall of Fame sports figures Hank Aaron and Don Shula and Olympians Dorothy Hamill and Cathy Rigby are among them.

They will join a roster of political insiders, military leaders and foreign correspondents on various segments of the world voyage, including Gen. "Our guests are intelligent and curious travelers who relish insights into the visited destinations and the world in which we live," said Bret Bullock, Crystal's vice president of entertainment. "To appeal to their wide range of interests and satisfy their discerning tastes, we seek out only the most engaging experts."

The World Cruise itinerary consists of five 16- to 22-day segments through Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Alaska and Canada, with numerous port overnights (including a three-day Beijing exploration) en route.

Two-for-one segment fares start at $9,760 per person, including airfare from 24 North American gateways (or air credit), and a shipboard credit up to $2,000 per couple. Agents can get more details at www.crystalcruises.com.
