Royal Caribbean Group on Dec. 13 cut the ribbon on its new beach club in Nassau, Bahamas.

The ticketed destination for Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises guests -- Royal Beach Club Paradise Island -- officially opens Dec. 23.

In attendance were executives from the cruise company and Bahamian officials, including Prime Minister Philip Davis and Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island has two beaches, three pools and 10 bars, including three swim-up bars. In the Party Cove, Royal Caribbean calls the Floating Flamingo the world's largest swim-up bar.

There are two day passes available, and one of them includes unlimited open bar. Both include all-day dining and high-speed WiFi.

Guests can reserve day beds and cabanas at the pool and beach. The Party Deck is a premium experience for up to 12 people atop the Floating Flamingo.

To reach the beach club, guests take a complimentary ferry from the Nassau Cruise Port.
