Royal Caribbean International has expanded its destinations across East Asia and lengthened itineraries there for the 2027-28 season.
The Spectrum of the Seas will now sail cruises up to 11 nights in the region, visiting 22 total destinations.
The cruise line is also introducing its first one-way cruises to and from Tokyo, rather than exclusively offering round-trip voyages.
It will sail eight and 10-night voyages from Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong. But it is also offering itineraries of just three and four nights, from Shanghai and Hong Kong to destinations like Jeju Island and Busan in South Korea.
The cruise line designed five and eight-night itineraries specifically for the summer season. In the spring and fall, itineraries are tailored for seeing the seasonal foliage and flowers, including blossom sailings through China, Japan and South Korea in May 2027, and fall foliage sailings with visits to Seoul and Sapporo, Japan.
Three holiday sailings on the Spectrum of the Seas will have festivities onboard. The Thanksgiving sailing is an 11-night cruise, the Christmas sailing is nine nights, and the New Year's cruise is five nights, with an overnight in Naha, Japan, for the holiday.
