Sea Princess undergoing repairs to one of its propulsion motors

The Sea Princess will resume service May 26 after making repairs to one of its main propulsion motors, according to Karen Candy, spokeswoman for Princess Cruises.

The May 12 voyage from Southampton, England, was cancelled after the ship experienced engine problems returning from its previous cruise.

Passengers who held reservations for the May 12 cruise, a 14-day Mediterranean sailing, will receive a full refund and a 25% credit on a future cruise.

Princess said the ship will resume its schedule May 26 with a seven-day cruise from Southampton to La Coruna and Bilbao, Spain; Bordeaux, France; and Guernsey, England.
