Calling it a "unique" pricing model, Silversea Cruises is offering guests a discount on select bookings if they pay the entire nonrefundable cruise fare within five days of booking.
This is the first time the line has offered a prepaid pricing promotion. Specifically designed for Wave season, the promotion offers guests a 10% to 20% discount on select cruises booked through Feb. 28.
Guests opting not to pay the entire balance in advance can save 15% on their deposit when booking a door-to-door voyage, which includes private executive transfers from home, international flights and business class upgrades at a reduced rate.
The promotion is available on 226 ocean and expedition sailings. The eligible sailings are
aboard all but one of Silversea's 13 ships, the Silver Explorer.
Silversea senior vice president Roberto Verdino said the promotion will help travel advisors sell port-to-port voyages to more clients, including cruisers new to the brand.
