Star Clippers revealed the details of its foray into the Baltics in spring 2012, when its 170-passenger Star Flyer enters the market.
The line had announced in March that it would include the region in its cruise program next year.
The ship will sail 18 itineraries between May and August, calling at 37 ports and offering three- to 11-night cruises. Departure ports are Southampton, England; Oslo, Norway; Hamburg, Kiel and Warnemuende (Rostock), Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Amsterdam.
The cruise program is detailed in Star Clippers' 2012 brochure, which also includes the itineraries planned for the line's two other ships, the 170-passenger Star Clipper and the 227-passenger Royal Clipper.
The Royal Clipper will operate in the western Mediterranean with seven-, 10- and 11-night itineraries, either roundtrip from Rome or between Rome and Venice.
The Star Clipper will sail a series of seven-night Greek Isles and Turkey cruises roundtrip from Athens, and between Athens and Istanbul.
The three ships also will offer a total of six grand voyages, from 12 to 17 nights, in northern Europe, the eastern and western Mediterranean and northern Africa. In addition, five transatlantic sailings are featured in 2012, ranging from 14 to 35 nights.
