The newest ship to sail for Voyages of Discovery, the 540-passenger Voyager, is poised to begin a series of winter sailings from Barbados starting Dec. 20.
Voyager is slated to cruise on 13-20 day voyages in the Caribbean and Central and South America through April, before returning to Portsmouth in the U.K. for summer itineraries in Europe. It will sail in the Far East next winter.
Voyager, formerly the Alexander von Humboldt, has been extensively refurbished and replaces the line's previous ship, the Discovery.
