Voyages to Antiquity said it has created a self-study certification course for travel agents called the Luminary Program that will enable them to gain greater familiarity with the small specialty cruise line.

“With a niche product like Voyages to Antiquity, ensuring that we provide our travel partners with the educational and marketing resources they need to effectively promote our voyages is crucial,” said James Applebaum, vice president of sales and marketing for the company.

After completing the course, agents can get advance notice of company news and promotions, exclusive product training sessions and bonus commission opportunities.

The program comes on the heels of a redesign of the line’s website, where agents can get news, marketing materials and other communications about the single-ship line.
