Windstar adds new cruises in Med, Europe for 2013

Windstar Cruises introduced seven new itineraries for 2013.

The line operates three luxury yachts, the 312-passenger Wind Surf and the Wind Spirit and Wind Star, each accommodating 148 passengers. All three ships this year are undergoing renovations of cabins and/or public areas.

New Mediterranean programs next year will have the Wind Surf and the Wind Spirit operating seven-day Casablanca & Canary Islands cruises, while the Wind Star and Wind Spirit will offer seven-day Provence & Cote d'Azur sailings.

The Wind Spirit also will operate an 11-day Holy Land cruise, featuring calls in Israel and Egypt.

In Northern Europe, the Wind Surf will operate an eight-day sailing between Lisbon and Portsmouth, England, along with a seven-day Idyllic British Isles cruise calling at England, Wales and Ireland.

Additionally the Wind Surf will offer a seven-day Gaelic Explorers cruise featuring Scotland and Ireland, and an 11-day Scandinavian voyage visiting Scotland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.

Two transatlantic cruises aboard each vessel also are offered in 2013. Schedules and pricing are at www.windstarcruises.com.
