Introduction and History

The Trollfjord, a working ship from Hurtigruten (Norwegian Coastal Voyage), entered service in 2002 as the second of the Millennium class offering even more amenities than the five Contemporary-Class ships dating from the early- and mid-1990s.

At 16,140 gross tons and traveling at 18 knots, the ship takes up to 822 passengers and up to 50 cars and cargo, handled at each of the 35 ports.
