Introduction and History

Built in the Netherlands in 1999, this riverboat from Uniworld is one of several long and narrow, three-deck vessels that can cruise under low bridges along European waterways and fit through narrow ship locks.

With a length of 361 feet, the River Queen carries its passengers in all outside cabins. The crew is mostly Eastern European, and their command of English is excellent.
