'Rat Pack' to play at the Sahara

LAS VEGAS -- Do you have clients looking for a blast from the past?

For those who remember the "Rat Pack," it's back.

"The Rat Pack Is Back" show opened March 25 at the Sahara Hotel and Casino here.

The show is a song, dance and comedy medley recalling some of the performers who helped make Las Vegas famous.

"The dynamics of the show really take audience members back to that classic old Las Vegas era," said Yale Rowe, the Sahara's director of marketing.

"The Rat Pack Is Back" performed to sell-out crowds when the show made its debut at the Desert Inn last July.

The show is held in the Sahara's 550-seat Congo Room, which has been the site of performances by Tony Bennett and Marlene Dietrich.

Original cast members from the show's debut performance will be on hand.

The show was named one of the Top 10 in the area by the Las Vegas Review-Journal last summer.

Show times are 7:30 and 10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Ticket prices start at $34.95 and are available at the Sahara Box Office.
