AA signs on for air/rail connections at Charles de Gaulle

MIAMI -- American Airlines signed an agreement for air/rail connections at Charles de Gaulle Airport, including luggage handling, with the Thalys high-speed rail network that joins Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne, Germany.

Under the agreement, passengers will be able to transfer from American's U.S.-Paris flights to Thalys' high-speed rail service between de Gaulle airport and Brussels, Belgium.

The arrangement may be extended in the future to include other cities in Europe. The marketing arrangement will begin as soon as necessary government approvals are secured.
