Alaska Airlines adds Seattle-D.C. service

SEATTLE -- Alaska Airlines started two nonstop flights daily between Seattle and Washington D.C. -- one to Reagan National Airport and one to Dulles, this month.

Alaska began service between Anchorage, Seattle and National a week before the Sept. 11 attacks. When flights were suspended into National, Alaska Airlines redirected that flight to Dulles.

Alaska will resume one-stop, same-plane service between Anchorage and National on Dec. 4.

The nonstop Dulles flight will continue.
