Amelia Island Plantation Pays 14%

AMELIA ISLAND -- Amelia Island Plantation reminded agents that it has offered a program since June, before the airline commission cuts, that boosts pay from 10% to 14% for the remainder of this year and during all of 1998.

Under the Amelia Islander Incentive program, agents receive 14% commission on all leisure business generated for the last seven months of 1997 that exceeds $4,000. Stays completed June 1 through Dec. 31 qualify for the higher pay.

Once agents exceed the $4,000 level, they will automatically qualify for a base commission of 14% from the first dollar on all business they generate during 1998. For agents who produce both conference and leisure business for Amelia Island Plantation, a minimum combined volume of $12,000 during all of 1997 is needed to qualify for the extra pay for the balance of 1997 and all of 1998.

Amelia Islander status also includes VIP treatment for clients, such as free upgrades (based on availability) and amenities sent to guests in the agent's name. The plan also features other agent rewards, including fam tours, gifts and plaques. For a promotions kit, agents can call (888) 261-6164.
