Aston to run new Big Island resort

WAIKOLOA, Hawaii -- After losing two Big Island management contracts last year, Aston Hotels & Resorts is regaining its position on the Big Island with plans to manage Waikoloa Colony Villas, a luxury townhouse resort under development at the Waikoloa resort.

Stanford Carr Development tapped Aston to manage the 168-unit resort, where construction is set to begin this month.

The property will have two swimming pools and one tennis court.
