Barbados plans to modify 'Super Saver' plans

NEW YORK -- The Barbados Tourism Authority's tentative plans to modify its annual "Barbados Super Saver Package" promotion calls for a new honeymoon extension featuring free breakfast, champagne and a merchandise gift certificate.

Components for all visitors staying five nights or longer would include a free first night, admission to one or more attractions and a free full breakfast each day. The package would go into effect some time in April, terminating Dec. 14, according to Bill Silvermintz, the authority's vice president of marketing for the Americas.
