Bermuda resort finishes refit phase

SOMERSET, Bermuda -- Cambridge Beaches, a cottage colony resort situated on a 25-acre peninsula here, completed the final phase of its renovation project.

This phase consisted of the addition of 18 units, bringing the property's total room inventory to 94.

The new units included 12 deluxe rooms and six Cambridge suites, the property's highest room category.

The deluxe units, each measuring 770 square feet, feature a full bedroom with sitting area, large private terrace, oversized closets and bathroom with separate shower.

At 835 square feet, Cambridge suites feature sunken living rooms with raised bedrooms and bathrooms that include a whirlpool, separate glass showers and double sinks.

The new accommodations share an inner courtyard with palm trees and a water fountain.

Introductory rates for the new units range from $615 per room, per night, double, for a deluxe room to $715 for a Cambridge suite.

Rates, commissionable at 10%, are valid through Oct. 15. They include breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner for two.

For agents, the property offers a rate of $125 per person, per night, from Dec. 1 to Feb 28. This rate also includes breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.
