NEW ORLEANS--The Crescent City is a city for adults, right? Wrong.
New Orleans and kids go hand in hand. Just ask anyone who has
ordered the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention and Visitors
Bureau's "99 Things for Kids" brochure.
There has in fact been a high number of national and
international inquiries for the booklet, according to the bureau.
According to a Travel Industry Association report, the share of
vacationers who travel with their children increased from 45% to
55% nationally between 1992 and 1996.
The free brochure, one of NOMCVB's newest and most popular,
provides a to-do list for kids, including descriptions of a variety
of New Orleans activities, from sports to museums to events, enough
activity to fill any family's days and nights.
