The 378-room property has 86 suites, three sundecks, an indoor
swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, a spa and salon, an exercise room,
retail shops, an arcade and eight meeting rooms totaling 6,600
square feet. All of the guest rooms have a view of the gulf, as
does the Reflections restaurant, located on the 10th floor.
Among the restaurant's buffet specialties are baked tilapia with
crawfish mousse, broiled lobster, honey-smoked turkey breast, roast
loin of pork and beef tenderloin.
Of the hotel's 86 suites, 16 are themed. According to Michael
Culberson, director of hotel operations, the company spent $50,000
on each of the themed suites in a thrust toward achieving a
four-star, four-diamond rating from such sources as AAA and
