Boston-Area Hotels Slate Packages to Accompany da Vinci Exhibition

BOSTON -- Hotels in the Greater Boston area are offering weekend packages in conjunction with the only U.S. stop of the worldwide tour of the "Leonardo da Vinci: Scientist, Inventor, Artist" exhibition.

The exhibit will be at Boston's Museum of Science through Sept. 1 and is expected to draw more than 400,000 visitors.

The hotels have developed a variety of offerings that include tickets to the exhibit and, in some cases, other extras such as tours or food offerings. The packages range in price from $115 to $320 per night, double.

Participating properties include the Back Bay Hilton, Boston Harbor Hotel, Boston Marriott Hotel, Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Hotel Meridien, Regal Bostonian and Sheraton Boston Hotel & Towers.

Also, the Sheraton Tara Newton, Swissotel and Westin Hotel, Copley Place.

United Airlines also is offering discounted fares in association with the exhibit.

The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau is offering free visitor brochures with hotel, restaurant and tour information as well as a comprehensive schedule of events and a map.
