NEW YORK -- Brazilian Views is offering a House & Garden Tour to Rio de Janeiro and Iguazu Falls in Brazil, lead by Scott Appell, director of education for the Horticultural Society of New York.

Departing Oct. 4, the 10-night tour coincides with springtime in Brazil. Participants will view gardens with flowers rarely seen in North America.

Attractions in Rio include three "home museums," where formal gardens are accented with Portuguese artifacts and Brazilian folk art; a private wild orchid preserve; the Botanical Center for Landscape Design, and the Wynn-Jones private gardens at Villa Parquequer.

The program includes a stay near Iguazu Falls, with a tour of the falls.

Priced at $2,498 per person, double, the tour covers accommodations, seven buffet breakfasts and four other meals, airport transfers and guided tours.
