Brides, grooms say I do's during 'Sirens of TI'

LAS VEGAS -- Couples who envision their nuptials to be a swashbuckling affair now can tie the knot aboard the Song, one of two pirate ships that do battle in Sirens' Cove during Treasure Island's outdoor production "The Sirens of TI."

With the Enchantment Wedding package, guests watch from an adjacent patio as the groom, best man and the Song's "captain" board the ship and await the bride's arrival via a rose-covered walkway.

Pirate characters are available to serve as witnesses to the ceremony and, for a dramatic touch, a pirate swoops in from the crow's nest to deliver the wedding rings.

Newlyweds-to-be who want an outdoor ceremony without the drama should check out the new Oasis Wedding package, which features a ceremony in a secluded area adjacent to the property's swimming pool, complete with a white garden gazebo and seating for 50 people.

Each wedding plan includes the services of an officiant, a bridal bouquet, floral decor, wedding music and photography. The Enchantment Wedding plan ranges from $1,999 to $2,999 plus tax, and the Oasis package runs from $1,525 to $2,145.

For details or to book, contact the chapel at (800) 866-4748 or (702) 894-7700 or visit www.treasureisland.com.
