BridgeWalk to debut May 15

ANNA MARIA ISLAND, Fla. -- Silver Resorts is scheduled to open its third property in the Bradenton area on May 15, when BridgeWalk, a 28-apartment complex with meeting space makes its debut.

BridgeWalk is in the historic district of Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island.

Its accommodations consist of one-bedroom apartments, studio suites and two-story, two-bedroom townhouses.

Twenty-four of the units will have Jacuzzi tubs and every unit will have a screened veranda overlooking either the Intracoastal Waterway or the Gulf of Mexico.

Kitchens and bathrooms will have granite counters and accommodations will be furnished with brown wicker furniture, designer fabrics and contrasting wood cabinets.

The property claims to have Anna Maria island's only meetings facilities -- the Mira-Mar Room, handling 72 persons, and the Braden Room, seating up to 12 persons.

Also on-site will be six stores in a shopping verandah, a heated pool, a health spa, and J.C. Gardener's, a restaurant serving all three meals. It specializes in European cuisine.

Agents will earn 10% pay on sales, a spokesman said.

Introductory rates May 15 to Sept. 3, start at $123 per night, single or double, plus tax.

Silver Resorts also operates the 37-unit Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort, Longboat Key, and the 49-unit Silver Surf Golf Beach Resort, Bradenton Beach.
