CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J. -- CIE Tours International here added five itineraries to its roster in anticipation of a significant business increase this year, according to Brian Stack, the firm's president.

He said the past year was "the best year in the 70-year history" of the company, with a 15% increase in business over 1999 levels, representing the 10th consecutive year of growth for the Ireland/Britain operator.

The company is increasing the reservations staff at its headquarters to accommodate travel agent inquiries, Stack said, noting that the trade provides CIE with 98% of its bookings.

The Grand Parade in Cork. West Cork is a stop on CIE Tours' new seven-night Irish Pub & Folk Tour.
