Calif. Tourism enters two rep pacts

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- California Tourism, a public-private partnership of the state office of tourism and the California Travel and Tourism Commission, entered into a partnership for travel trade representation in Australia and Brazil.

California joined with the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau, the Mammoth Lakes Visitors Bureau, the San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau and the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau to be represented by Integra Tourism Marketing in Australia and by South Marketing International in Brazil.

"By having year-round representation in Australia and Brazil, California will be able to bolster its position as a leading travel destination," said Caroline Beteta, executive director of the CTTC.

Integra Tourism Marketing and South Marketing International will develop products, respond to trade requests, participate in trade shows, handle media inquiries and develop consumer fulfillment services.
