ANACAPRI, Italy -- Thalassotherapy, or beauty treatment
involving seawater or other oceanic elements, is the focus of a new
program at the Capri Beauty Farm, a European spa located adjacent
to the Europa Palace Hotel here.
The spa facility is situated nearly 1,000 feet above sea level
on the Mediterranean Island of Capri.
The six-night package begins with a medical examination by a
team of specialists under the direction of a noted anti-aging
expert, according to the spa, then offers visitors a variety of
treatments using typical ocean substances such as mineral salts,
