NEW YORK -- National Car Rental in Curacao is offering the fourth
day free on a car rental when three days are booked, and two
additional days on a six-day rental.
The offer is valid through Dec. 15 on two- or four-door sedans
with air conditioning and power steering.
Cars can be picked up at the airport or delivered to the guest's
hotel; driving is on the right in Curacao.
In airline news, US Airways launched daily nonstop service
between Philadelphia and Freeport, Bahamas, as well as twice-weekly
Boston-San Juan service.
The San Juan flights will run on Saturdays and Sundays.
In addition, Continental Airlines will reinstate service three
times a week between Houston and Aruba on June 12. The 737 service
was discontinued after 9/11.
Also on June 12, Continental will add nonstop daily service
between Newark and Port of Spain, Trinidad.
On the charter front, Vacation Express added Newburgh, N.Y. to
its charter route.
Flights originate in Newburgh and stop in Baltimore before
continuing on to Aruba; Cancun, Mexico; Guanacaste, Costa Rica; and
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The schedule depends on the day of
week and time of year.
