MAUNA LANI -- Classic Resorts here started marketing one of its most expensive and luxurious products -- The Window on the World House -- on which agents make a minimum of $750 for booking the property.

The four-bedroom house sits on a golf course at the Mauna Lani resort and accommodates up to four couples.

The Window on the World House is in addition to Classic's two other top-notch products at Mauna Lani: the Islands, a luxury townhouse development, and Mauna Lani Point, a condominium project.

Construction on the house was finished a little more than a year ago. It goes for $1,500 per night with a five-night minimum stay; agents earn 10% commission.

"In trying to assess what our marketing angle is for all the products here, it is tranquility; access to your own kitchen; and private space, security and luxury," said Terry Dowsett, director of operations at Mauna Lani for Classic Resorts.

With 3,400 square feet of space, the house has a high-ceilinged living room with a sliding door that opens to a private lap pool and unobstructed views of the golf course, the ocean and the Kohala volcano.

It has four bathrooms, three bedrooms, a den (with a fax/printer, telephone, extra phone line for a laptop and a sofa bed), a gourmet kitchen, a two-car garage and maid service.

Another Classic Resorts product is the Islands at Mauna Lani, a townhouse development on the Francis Brown golf course.

It features two- and three-bedroom, two-story units. Each unit has a two-car garage, a full kitchen, two bathrooms with a tub and shower, a washer and dryer, a dining room and a living room with a pull-out sofa bed.

Rates for two-bedroom units, which sleep up to six, range from $415 to $495 per night; rates for three-bedroom units, which sleep up to eight, are $695. There is a three-night minimum stay.

At Mauna Lani Point, Classic Resorts' third Mauna Lani product, there are one- and two-bedroom condominiums, all situated on the golf course.

One-bedroom units range from $290 to $395 per night; two-bedroom units range from $380 to $505.
