Company adds Fla., Mich. hotels

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Extended StayAmerica added two new properties, a 98-room Extended StayAmerica Efficiency Studios in Lake Mary, Fla., and an 86-room StudioPlus Deluxe Studios hotel in Novi, Mich.

The Extended StayAmerica Efficiency Studios property in Lake Mary has 98 rooms, and is the company's eighth hotel in the Orlando area. It is also the firm's 26th hotel in the state.

The property is located near Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.

Projected weekly rates are $319 for a room with a queen-size bed and $349 for a king-size. Nightly rates start at $64.

The rooms have the usual Extended StayAmerica features, including a recliner, cable television, free voice mail, free local calls and a data port. Rooms also have a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker and utensils.

Extended StayAmerica, based here, will be adding other hotels in Florida, with two properties set to open in Miami in late 2000 and early 2001.

The Novi property is the 11th Extended StayAmerica hotel in Michigan. Weekly rates start at $399 and nightly rates begin at $79.

StudioPlus properties come with fully equipped kitchens, cable television, desks, free voice mail, free local calls and data ports.
