SAN DIEGO -- Legend Tours' Crystal Kingdom itinerary is intended to be combined with another holiday shopping package to Scandinavia the company introduced last year, a self-guided tour featuring the Christmas market in Copenhagen, Denmark's Tivoli Gardens amusement park.

Tivoli Gardens opens the market, restaurants, Glas Salon cabaret and ice skating rink every November and December for holiday shoppers and adds nightly performances of "The Nutcracker" by the Royal Danish Ballet during the month of December.

Starting at $368 per person, double, from Nov. 15 through Dec. 14, the Tivoli's Christmas Market package includes three nights' accommodations at the Palace or a comparable hotel, daily breakfast and taxes.

Clients will receive a 2001 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Plate as a gift. Also included is a 72-hour Copenhagen Card, with free admission to Tivoli Gardens and free public transportation in Copenhagen.

An orchestra ticket also is included as the featured entertainment, for the client's choice of either "The Nutcracker" or the more offbeat "The Return of the Scarlet Fingernail," a comic take on the French revolution presented in English by the London Toast Theatre comedy troupe.

"The Tivoli Christmas Market tour was very popular last year for individuals," said Janet Nowell, chief operating officer at Legend Tours, "and I've gotten groups for this year as a result of last year's efforts."

Travel agent commission is 12%.
