Disney Parks and Resorts reports strong third quarter earnings

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts reported that third quarter revenue rose 6% to $2.9 billion, compared to the same time last year, while operating revenue jumped 13% to $621 million.

Higher daily rates at Disney resorts and robust attendance at Disneys parks, along with increased spending by park guests, contributed to the strong performance for the division.
