LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Walt Disney World, in conjunction with seven tour operators and several airlines, will offer free kids' packages to children ages 11 and younger during September.

Packages feature roundtrip air, an on-site Disney World hotel and Disney's four-day-or-longer Ultimate Park Hopper ticket.

The latter includes unlimited admission to the four major parks and three water parks for the length of the package.

To qualify, three-night-and-longer packages must be booked by June 25, and at least one paying adult must accompany each child who goes for free.

The kids-free deal, which Disney said has been a success for operators selling Disneyland in California, is expected to bolster the company's Florida tour sales during a traditionally weak month.

The tour operators are Delta Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Gogo Worldwide Vacations, Travel Impressions, United Vacations, US Airways Vacations and Walt Disney Travel Co.

Participating airlines include Delta, United and US Airways.

AAA offices across the U.S. will be among retailers promoting the Kids Free deal, a Disney spokeswoman noted. Walt Disney Travel Co. operates AAA's program.
