The price of one-day tickets for visitors ages 10 and up to Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., increased 4.5%, from $66 to $69. Children ages 3 to 9 must now pay $59, a 5.3% increase from $56.
At Walt Disney World in Orlando, the price of one-day tickets rose 5.6%, from $71 to $75, while tickets for children ages 3 to 9 rose 5%, from $60 to $63.
Universal Orlando matched Disney World, increasing the price of a one-day ticket from $71 to $75.
The ticket increase follows Disney’s quarterly earnings report last week, when Disney CEO Bob Iger said that part of the company’s success in the parks and resorts segment was due to affordable pricing.
Disney World last increased ticket prices a year ago, when one-day tickets jumped 6%, from $67 to $71, last August.
