FCW's Nenuphar to return

French Country Waterways will relaunch its 12-passenger, all-suite Nenuphar barge this spring after a one-year layoff.

The barge will be deployed in France's Champagne region on May 13, newly renovated with custom cherry paneling and furniture, marble bathrooms and a choice of beds: king, queen or twins.

The relaunch of the Nenuphar brings FCW's fleet to five, including the 18-passenger Esprit, the 12-passenger Adrienne, the eight-passenger Horizon II and the eight-passenger Princess.

All of the operator's river barges are equipped with sundecks, lounges, dining room, bar and libraries with books, music and games. Staterooms and suites have full-size beds, storage space, individually controlled heat and air conditioning and private bathrooms.

All-inclusive prices range from $4,895 to $5,995 per person, double, including all meals, estate-bottled wines at lunch or dinner, one dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, open bars, tours and excursions, a private wine tasting and use of bicycles. The barges are available for charter.
