FGTO Launches Ad Campaign

NEW YORK -- The French Government Tourist Office unveiled its first advertising campaign specifically for young, active travelers.

The campaign's tagline is "Warning: A French adventure might spoil you for life."

The print campaign depicts soft adventures, such as water-skiing, bicycling and hot-air ballooning.

The French tourist office also announced an alliance with MasterCard similar to the MasterCard Destinations programs already in existence with China and Mexico.

The program, promoted to MasterCard members, will provide cardholders with a variety of bonuses, including a directory of French establishments that have exclusive value-added offers.
