Fairmont Hamilton Princess unveils $13M Entree Gold wing

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- After 10 months and $13 million of renovations, the 410-room Fairmont Hamilton Princess transformed the historic wing of the hotel into the Entree Gold wing.

The wing features the Adam Lounge, 87 guest rooms and eight suites.

According to a hotel representative, the Entree Gold wing was designed for the discerning traveler -- those who want special treatment while traveling either for business or leisure.

Entree Gold guest room renovations include new furnishings; marble bathrooms; three two-line telephones; high-speed Internet access with separate Internet and phone lines; personalized stationery, and desks equipped with pens, pencils, stapler, tape, notepads and paper clips.

Each room has a CD player, cable TV, an honor bar, a coffeemaker, a safe, an iron and ironing board and an umbrella.

According to the property, the rooms were designed to provide clients with a sense of being in an elegant Bermudian home.

The wing also offers complimentary use of its executive boardroom, which can accommodate up to 14.

The Entree Gold concept was described by the property as a "hotel within a hotel." It offers private check-in at the Entree Gold Salon, concierge services, complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres.

Concierge services include dining recommendations and reservations, assistance with travel arrangements and faxing and photocopying services.

Rates start at $469 per room, per night, single or double, and are valid through Nov. 15.
