Fla. park takes hoof-and-mouth precautions

TAMPA, Fla. -- Because there is a chance of hoof-and-mouth disease spreading to an animal from a person who has visited an infected area within the previous five days, officials at Busch Gardens-Tampa Bay are banning such individuals from its Serengeti Safari Tour, where participants have the option of touching animals.

Although not welcome on the safari, such visitors will get preferred seating at shows and priority admission on other rides and attractions within the park.
