LAS VEGAS -- Fox Limousines opened a branch here, offering a mix of
sedans, limousines and buses in southern Nevada.
"[Las Vegas has] the least amount of limousines of any city of
this size in the country. It's a tight transportation market," said
a spokeswoman for Fox.
Fox's niche is the high-end market; it offers more personalized
service, she said.
Handpicked chauffeurs are required to complete defensive-driving
The company offers the most complete selection of chauffeured
transportation in Nevada, according to the spokeswoman.
Vehicles include late-model Lincoln Town Cars; mega, super and
presidential stretch limousines; 14-passenger executive vans;
24-passenger vans, and 14-passenger Ford 2000 Grand Excursion
vehicles which have been converted into limousines.
The latter offers televisions and VCRs, stereos, bars and a
large cargo area designed especially for golfers and convention
groups. The Grand Excursion rents for $89 an hour.
Vehicles are available to meet airport passengers or groups as
well as to service the convention market.
