NEW YORK -- Hotels around the globe are looking to entice duffers with packages for the fall season. A sampling follows:

The Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Fla.

  • The Arnold Palmer Golf Academy at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Fla., features two- and three-day vacation packages through the end of the year.
  • The plans cover accommodations, daily breakfasts, daily instruction, video analysis, 18 holes of golf, nightly club cleaning and storage, daily spa admittance and a golf gift set.

    Rates range from $298 to $351 through Oct. 31 and from $350 to $451 between Nov. 1 and Dec. 16.

    Rates are per person, per night, depending on accommodations, package and season.

    A five-day package also is available, priced from $1,543 to $1,861 through Oct. 31 and from $1,823 to $2,267 between Nov. 1 and Dec. 16.

    Rates for nongolfers also are available.

  • The Oriental hotel in Bangkok unveiled a combination hotel and golf package for either a three- or five-night stay.
  • The plan, valid until Oct. 31, features a daily round of golf at one of the city's top five courses.

    The Oriental Golf Experience offers accommodations, daily breakfasts, roundtrip limousine transfers to golf courses, three or five 18-hole rounds of golf, butler service, daily newspapers and use of the fitness center.

    Rates range from $560 per person, double, during the low season for the three-night plan to $1,100 during the high season for the five-night plan.

  • The Tierra del Sol Resort and Country Club in Aruba is promoting free unlimited golf through Dec. 18.
  • The resort has two- and three-bedroom condominium and villa accommodations on an 18-hole golf course.

    Nightly rates start at $53 per person, based on four people sharing a two-bedroom unit.

  • In Snowmass Village, Colo., located 10 miles from Aspen, properties belonging to the Snowmass Village Resort Association are offering fall golf packages.
  • The association is offering a package that starts at $179 per person and features two nights' accommodations for two; a round of golf, and a cart rental at Snowmass Club Golf Course or River Valley Ranch Golf Course.

    Other Snowmass Village properties offering golf packages are the Pokolodi Lodge, Snowmass Inn and Snowmass Mountain Chalet.

    Both the Pokolodi Lodge and the Snowmass Inn are featuring a plan that covers accommodations, continental breakfast and 18 holes of golf.

    Nightly rates start at $85 per person, double.

    This plan is valid from Sept. 18 through Oct. 15.

    The Snowmass Mountain Chalet's package offers full breakfast, accommodations and 18 holes of golf for a nightly rate of $89 per person, double.

    The plan also is valid from Sept. 18 to Oct. 15.

  • Duffers can book a golf vacation at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas through Dec. 30.
  • The plan features accommodations, greens fees, a golf cart, range balls, bag storage and a choice of eight Las Vegas courses.

    Rates start at $119 for one round of golf and a room for one night; the rate for two golfers starts at $183.

  • Reno, Nev.-bound golfers can try the Atlantis Casino Resort, which created individual golf packages.
  • The VIP Eagle I plan, for example, starting at $159 per person, double, offers two nights' accommodations, breakfast for two, use of the health spa, one round of golf with guaranteed tee times and limousine service to the golf course.

    Golfers can choose from six different courses.

    This package is valid through Oct. 31. A variety of other golf programs also is available.
