Golf Int'l slashes Scotland price

NEW YORK -- Golf International here reduced the price of its six-night, self-drive golf vacation to Scotland.

Valid for trips in September and October, the price for groups of four or more is $1,795 per person, a reduction of $600.

David Brice, the firm's president, said groups of fewer than four can receive a discount of $500 per person, and accompanying nongolfers benefit from a further reduction of $240.

Departures are from New York, Boston and Philadelphia on Saturdays.

Prices include air on British Airways, six nights' accommodations, full breakfasts, a seven-day rental car and five rounds of golf. The trip features five golf courses, including St. Andrews New Course and the Dunbar Golf Club.
