Gray Line adds Mount Rainier to offerings

SEATTLE -- Gray Line of Seattle will mark the start of Mount Rainier National Park's second century of existence by including the park in its sightseeing tours portfolio in 2000. The company will offer the park on both a day trip and an overnight basis.

A one-day trip, departing from the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle at 8 a.m., will cost $50 for adults and $25 for kids ages 2 to11. A one-night tour is available for $160 per person, double.

Accommodations will be at the park's historical log structure, the Paradise Inn.

The programs are slated to begin May 1 and end Sept. 30.

Mount Rainier National Park features more than 300 miles of hiking trails and 75 miles of horseback riding trails and contains spectacular waterfalls, alpine meadows and forests.
